Biggest Challenge

What were some of your solutions to the project?
Which solution did you chose and why? Why was it a challenge? What would you do differently if you could do it again. How did you feel when it was complete? Was it a success or failure?
In this project some solutions I tried was not adding as much water after I was told that I was adding a lot of water. This was hard for me because I was trying to use slabs and I should of used coils. When it was complete I would consider it a failure sadly :(

Helped Me Grow

What were these skills/ techniques? Did you even know what the skill/ technique was before you created the artwork? Did you get the results you wanted?

My project of the coil vase helped me grow the most. Mostly because it was our first project and it helped me understand the idea of ceramics. I didn't know what the skill coils were at first but I got no where near the results I wanted but it didn't turn out to bad.

My Favorite

Did you use skills/ techniques you have never used before? What techniques did you incorporate into this artwork? Did you glaze it, How? How did you feel when it was complete? Was it a success?
My favorite piece of work I made is the fruit goblet. I used the pinch pot method. I did glaze it, three times actually, I painted on the glaze and fired it. I was so impressed with it, this was definitely a success.

Reflects Me

Is it personal? What is the artwork about? What does it express about you?

This piece of cake reflects me a lot. Because if you know me you know I love chocolate. and sweets, including cake. :)
